Today's Title: Rosencranz and Guildenstern are Dead (what? I never said the plays had to be musicals, or maybe I did...oh well, don't care.)
I realize the fad of these was a while back, but I am currently in need of something mindless and fun to do. So here we are, the fabulous idea stolen from Nikki, who stole it from Woody, who stole it from Grace.
1. Who would you rather get stuck in handcuffs with, Nikki or Amanda?
That's an interesting question. I suppose Nikki, just because I've known her for longer, but all the same, that would end in awkwardness.
2.Do you trust Woody?
Even better question. Not to cause me bodily harm: not in the slightest. To give me back things that I lend her: yes.
3. Have you dreamt of Autumn before?
Can't say I have.
4. Name something you have in common with Caitlin?
Insanity? Theatre? Both? Something along those lines.
5. Would you open a mystery gift Trenton just gave you, without much hesitation?
Define much hesitation. Maybe a little. Trenton's a shifty gay-man.
6. Would you open a mystery gift Michelle just gave you, without much hesitation?
Yeah, probably. I trust her not to give me a bomb.
7. What's Sara to you?
Crazy fun random times and a good friend.
8. Amanda is actually Woody in disguise, you know.
OH GOD!!! My eyes/ears/brain! *twitch* Now there's two of her.
9. How do your and Brendan's talents add up?
Musical and non-musical. Can't think of another good one with something I'm good at that he isn't...that's quite sad. I suppose if you put us together, you'd end up with a hemaphrodite. That was a really random thought.
10. Does Taylor have any pets?
Yep. We has adorable puppy dog of doom.

Listen close to everybody's hearts, and hear that breaking sound
Title: Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (even though its not actually a musical, it fit the mood)
So, I give up. I give up trying to talk to my parents. I give up pretending that I'm not counting the days until I can leave. I give up forgiving and forgetting.
They want elitist. Fine.
I don't say anything and they put words into my mouth. Suddenly I think I'm above them. Lie. I think they are stupid. Lie.
I just think that they do stupid things for stupid reasons that I cannot fathom.
Everytime they assume, I end up being the one who is a spoiled elitist, or something on those lines. So, I give up.
I don't want to go to family therapy and spend an hour (or two or whatever) going through the same shit at in front of a therapist that we do at home. Dunno about everyone else in this house, but I don't forsee anything being accomplished.
I can't talk to people, I swear. It makes me uncomfortable. So, I'm sorry if this is the impression that everyone gets of me. I don't mean it. I guess maybe I should just stop talking entirely...then they'd have nothing to go off of. I wouldn't say the things that make them mad if they didn't make me. Can't I just be? I'm happier when left alone.
Too much school. Too much home. Nowhere is sacred anymore. Hell if I know where to go or what to do. Cut me some slack, I'm only 17.
Sorry I don't have their infinite wisdom that leads them into a self-destructive pattern of getting drunk or stoned to escape the real world. And if thinking that those things are terrible excuses for anything at all makes me elitist, then so be it.
Have they lost my respect? Some. Sorry for thinking highly of my parents. Sorry for beliving the cock-and-bull lies that they were better than the stoners and washouts of society. Sorry for being more than a little dissallusioned (don't care about spelling right now) when this idea came chrashing down. I know they're not perfect, but is it wrong to hope for something above the norm?
So, that's why I give up. Count down. 10 months to go. Then I'm free.
I don't know what else to do.

Listen to me, I have beautiful dreams I can spin you.
Today's Title: The Scarlet Pimpernel (which I just rediscovered and remembered how much I liked it.)
Other than that the title isn't very relevant at all. I just like the quote.
So, it's been a while since I blogged last...not that I figure much on people noticing or caring. Mostly this is for my own benefit. They claim its healthy. Hell if I know.
Wicked is still amazing. School is very tiring. My parents are generally irritating. Life as usual, eh?
Next semester will be better, less to do. I just noticed how often I blog in fragments. The SAT Writers would pwn my ass for that. Oh well.
I think that when I get the time (maybe Thursday) I'm going to blog about politics, mostly because I just happen to have the perfect title about a political rant. Again, don't expect anyone to listen...just ranting.
And now: more Scarlet Pimpernel!
"Vengeance victorious,
Is it a bad sign that one of my favorite songs in the entire play is the demented song glorifying the horrors wroght by the reign of terror and "Madame Guillitine"? Perhaps.
We all knew I'd be the one who would end up being a serial killer.
As Smity once said, "One day people will find heads in your fridge and the first thing they'll say is 'She was such a nice girl.'"
*smirk* Quite true.

Not like its even worth the time...
But still you know you wanted more
Sorry, it won't change--been there before
Today's Title (and consequent obsession): Spring Awakening
So...I think I actually in retrospect went through the 5 stages of grief in responce to losing my mathlete standing...
1) Denial
2) Anger
3) Bargaining
4) Depression
5) Acceptance
In a way this is good. It means that I've basically come to terms with it. Is Harris still a douchebag? Absolutely. Do I plan on ever speaking voluntarily to him again? Nope. Am I going to brood? Not anymore.
Life's too short. Fuck mathletes. There are other clubs at QHHS that I can spend my time with. They'd probably show more apreciation for my efforts anyways.
All in all, a fine conclusion.

You watch me, just watch me, I'm calling and one day all will know.
Today's Title: Spring Awakening (and hardly relevent to my mood apart from the fact that I'm listening to it.)
I had forgotten just how depressing Spring Awakening is. Like everybody dies. Except one person. But the music/plot/everything about it is so good and well written. I'd really like to see it.
I swear I'm gonna start writing my extended essay soon. I know that once I start the words are going to fly by, but for some reason I can't seem to gear myself up enough to do it. Oh well, Saturday then.
I just now wondered if I've used this title before, but I don't think I have. Oh well.

You can like the life you're living, you can live the life you like...
Today's Title: Chicago
Long time, no blog. Not the motivation. Or the time. Or maybe I'm just a lazy bum who never finishes anything I start. That might be it.
Recent news includes a plan for my extended essay (yay!) and signing up for the new nerdfighters secret project (keep an eye out for that one). :P
I really want to participate more in the realm of Nerdfighteria, so, I'm scavenger hunting and secret projecting. (Hoo ha...Nerdfighters!!!!!) Now all I need is a T-Shirt. That would be awesome.
So, this year I've also decided to do 10 things I've never done before. Nothing more here yet, partially because I don't know what I'd do just yet, but I think it would break up the monotony nicely. Probably won't do much before Christmas because I'm gonna be busy with stuff up until then. But who knows?
Maybe one of those things should be maintaining a regular blog.......nah....
I procrastinate far too much to do that.
~"Drink to all that we have lost, mistakes we have made, everything will change, but love remains the same."
Don't forget to be awesome!

Its just life, so keep dancing through.
Today's title: Wicked (in all its epic, amazing awesomeness)
So, as you can undoubtedly tell, loved Wicked. I wanna go see it again now. That's not gonna happen in the near future, but I can dream can't I?
Anywho, two major activities are currently underway: packing '08 and Oh the Insanity 6. Both of those will be done by Tuesday, come hell or highwater.
At the moment though, all is right with the world. In a few days, I'll be bitched at about packing or something, but soon afterward it should be good.
Nothing else to report. Just gonna end with one last Wicked quote.
"Because happy is what happens when all your dreams come true."
